Chemical Analysis Laboratory Technician
We are looking for a chemical analysis laboratory technician to test raw materials and finished unshaped refractory products in our own accredited laboratory — producing accurate results that quality decisions rely on.
About the role
You will work in an accredited laboratory in close cooperation with the quality department and technologists: from incoming inspection of raw materials to testing of finished products. Your reports form the basis for decisions on releasing a material into series production and for handling deviations.
Responsibilities
- Chemical analysis of raw materials (clays, chamotte, corundum, magnesia, binders, etc.) and finished refractory materials.
- Sample preparation: crushing, grinding, quartering, weighing.
- Performing physico-chemical and instrumental analyses in line with current methods (gravimetry, titrimetry, etc.).
- Drawing up test reports, maintaining laboratory logs and primary documentation.
- Monitoring reagent stock, taking part in verification and calibration of equipment, metrological support.
- Compliance with laboratory standards, quality requirements and occupational safety.
Requirements
- Education: secondary specialized or higher — chemistry, chemical technology, analytical chemistry or a related field.
- Experience in a plant or chemical laboratory will be an advantage (we also consider entry-level candidates willing to learn).
- Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative analysis methods.
- Accuracy, attention to detail, responsibility for the result.
- Ukrainian — fluent.
