Anti-burn-on coatings are intended for application to resin-bonded sand cores and moulds in foundry production to protect them during pouring. They are water- and alcohol-based coatings with a refractory filler. Magnesite, zirconium silicate, graphite, kyanite-sillimanite, corundum and others are used as fillers.
Used as a cooling fluid and can also be applied for various regimes and types of metalworking. They provide protection of parts after their final machining, which removes the need for the subsequent use of anti-corrosion compounds.
