Quality Engineer (QC)
We are looking for a quality engineer for the technical control department, responsible for the quality control of raw materials, the process and finished unshaped refractory materials within the ISO 9001:2015 quality system.
About the role
You will work at the interface between the laboratory, production and customers: organizing and carrying out control at all stages, handling deviations and claims, and maintaining and developing the quality management system.
Responsibilities
- Incoming, in-process and outgoing quality control of raw materials and finished products.
- Organizing and performing sampling and control tests together with the laboratory.
- Handling nonconformities and deviations: root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintaining and updating quality management system documentation (ISO 9001:2015).
- Issuing quality certificates, product data sheets and other regulatory documentation.
- Investigating customer claims, root cause analysis, preparing responses.
- Cooperation with the laboratory, production and customers’ technical specialists.
Requirements
- Higher technical education (chemical technology, metallurgy, materials science or a related field).
- 2+ years of experience in quality / technical control, preferably in metallurgy, refractory or building-materials production.
- Knowledge of the ISO 9001 quality management system, control methods and current standards.
- Ability to work with regulatory documentation and interpret test results.
- Analytical thinking, attention to detail, responsibility.
- Ukrainian — fluent; English at a level sufficient for reading technical documentation will be an advantage.
